Early life

Simpson was born to Brad and Angie Simpson. He has two younger siblings, Tom and Alli. He is also a talented swimmer, winning two gold medals at the Queensland Swimming Championships. Simpson trained at the Miami Swimming Club under coach Ken Nixon.Simpson's mother Angie works as a volunteer at the club.^[6]

Simpson began to record songs in his bedroom during the summer of 2009 on YouTube, performing "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz, "Cry Me a River" and "Señorita" by Justin Timberlake, "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5,and his own songs, "One" and "Perfect". He was subsequently discovered on YouTube by Shawn Campbell,a Grammy-nominated record producer who has produced for Jay-Z and other artists.

Singles

• "On My Mind" is the first song to be released from this EP. The song was written by Julie Frost, Fraser T. Smith, Mike Caren and Nasri. It was released on 23 April 2011. It was released on iTunes 23 May 2011. The song reached #32 on the U.S. Social Chart. The music video was released on 17 June 2011. The video was directed by Travis Kopach, and features dancer/actress Hailey Baldwin. In September, Simpson released.
• "Not Just You". The music video for "Not Just You" was released on 11 October 2011, directed by Roman White. The video was filmed on Venice Beach, and in downtown L.A.
• "Angel" Its the third single from the album, Its released on 16 December 2011, The music video directed by Cody Simpson & Matt Graham.

The REASON that i like him.

I like this singer because He is very young and he have a lot of abilities . he just 15 years old but his abilities are over his age.When I was sad I always listen to his song it makes me feel better.His songs have a good meaning and although not too much people do not know him but I thing he will be the most popoular boy someday because he is very young boy.Finally I hope someone will read and like this post and share my opinion about him.
